Skilled Carpenter

Required Skills

• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to follow directions accurately
• Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
• Basic understanding of construction or maintenance practices (preferred)
• Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork
• Ability to work independently when required, demonstrating initiative and responsibility

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience with blueprint interpretation and measurement
• Knowledge of building codes and safety protocols
• Familiarity with various construction materials and techniques
• Ability to work at heights or in confined spaces (if applicable)

Preferred Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary training or certification in carpentry or a related field preferred
• 1-2 years of experience in carpentry or a related field; experience with construction projects and team collaboration a plus

Other Requirements

• Must pass a background check and drug screen
• Must be able to work a full-time schedule, including weekends and holidays (if applicable)
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
